In the season 2002/2003 this quartet of Corrie van Binsbergen played at different jazzvenues and festivals (a.o. the European Jazz Festival, Athens and the New Jazz Festival, Moers, Germany) and for the Dutch Radio Stations VPRO and NPS.
Due to other activities of CVB, like the writersconcerts with Toon Tellegen, Remco Campert and Kees van Kooten, composition assignments for the Holland Festival and the ASKO Ensemble for a Zappa Tribute and a new programme with Corrie en de Grote Brokken the band took a break for a year. February 2005 the band started playing again, expanded to quintet with the unsurpassed trombonist Wolter Wierbos and new repertoire.
